As I was rolling back from Starbucks today, I was thinking about my last sad and pathetic (and yes, I know, unfinished) post. It's funny, when I'm sitting by myself and just letting my mind wander, I think in a pretty eloquent way, if I do say so myself. But the second I sit down at my computer, all of that eloquence goes right out the window. I can't put into words the annoying feeling I get as I sit staring at an empty computer screen.
Have you ever noticed that writers on TV, blog or otherwise, are never lacking in material and have ideas flowing out of them the second they sit down to write? Even if they are scripted to have writer's block, something happens and, miraculously, their writer's block disappears. And it always sounds so damn good. Not fair! This is always the case for one Ms. Carrie Bradshaw from the HBO show "Sex and the City" (one of my guilty pleasures, I admit it!), who is never lacking in new and insightful thoughts on men and their interactions with women. She is, I'll admit again, who I was channeling in my last failed attempt at a post. I was going to write about how, when it came to romance, I really didn't have much to write about. But as I sat there thinking of what to write, I realized that there wasn't anyone who read my blog that wanted to read some sob story about my non-love life anyways.
I must admit (wow, I am over using that word) that I try to shrug it off that I'm single and have never had any real prospect, but it is getting harder for me to do. I don't want to sound like some co-dependent woman who has to have a man in her life. I don't... as evident by my living an incredibly successful and full life for the past almost-20 years. I'm just saying that it'd be nice to find someone special. Maybe sophomore year will be the year...

men... or not!
I was going to write this all about how I don't have a man in my life and how much that sucks and that I don't know why, but I realized that probably none of you give a crap! LOL
Oh well!
Instead, I'll say that I can't believe that start my second year of college in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where does the time go?
So clearly, I am in DESPERATE need of topic ideas... Please, inspire me!
